The Young Adult Ministry is led by our pastor of Discipleship Jesse McAlexander. This ministry offers a wide variety of opportunities for spiritual growth, service, mentoring, fellowship, and fun for young adults 18-25.
The goal of this ministry is to seek out and walk alongside young adults as they transition from High School to adult life as a believer in college, trade school, or simply into life and work on their own, so that they can become mature disciples of Christ.
Greenville University brings in about 100 international students every year. These Students often come by themselves and may be leaving home for the first time. We invite families to sign up to be paired with these international students. These relationships can look like having a student over for dinner, practicing English, bringing them along when running errands, or even picking them up for church. It is a great way to reach out to and care for these students and for the opportunity to share your faith and disciple these young adults while they are away from home. If you would like to sign up, click HOST family application. After filling the form out, please send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sunday School/Bible Study
The Young Adult class meets in the west hallway (room 105) on Sunday mornings at 9:45. We are currently studying the Gospel Project. It is a chronological study of scripture that our entire church from preschool to adults study together each week.
