Preparing for Adolescence Faith Path: For parents of preteens, ages 9-13
What do you say to an adolescent who’s getting ready to enter those turbulent teenage years? In this Faith Path, parents will attend a 2-hour session where they will learn about the main points of Dr. James Dobson’s book, “Preparing for Adolescence”. The topics covered will include avoiding feelings of inferiority, handling peer pressure, puberty, overcoming discouragement, and so much more! Parents will also learn what it looks like to continue discipling their child during this phase of their development, as well as some best practices for parenting in the Digital Age.
There will be finger-sandwiches and light refreshments. Childcare is provided for those whose kids need to attend with them, and are not in Student Ministries.
